FAQ

  • Do you accept returns?

Yes, we accept returns up to 5 business days after delivery on all items, except engraved or customized pieces. Returns can be made for store credit of the full amount, or a refund minus a $200 return processing fee.

  • How do I insure my ring?

We’re here to help and to answer any questions you have about your Ceremony ring — for matters that fall outside our realm we advise considering ring insurance, which can often be an option as an extension of a homeowner’s or renter’s insurance policy. Make sure to do research and ask questions! This article is a great place to start.

  • Do you accept custom orders?

We are happy to make slight alterations to any of the designs, such as adding pavé stones to a band, changing the stone size, or using a stone you already have. Please reach out at hello@ceremony.us with your custom request.

  • Where do you get your diamonds? Are they conflict free?

Sourcing only conflict free diamonds is our top priority. Whenever possible we use recycled stones, as they are the most sustainable option available. However, when we are unable to secure your requested stone shape and size as a repurposed stone, we source our diamonds from Canada, where we have a close relationship with our supplier who tightly regulates ethical practices. The majority of our stones are also cut and polished in Canada, while a handful are cut overseas. All sources are tightly regulated and certified by the RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) to ensure best practices and top ethical standards. Within these regulations, standards include audit in the areas of:

    • Mine of origin (all rough diamonds must be purchased from an enumerated list of pre-approved mines).
    • Inventory Management – all factories are audited for pipeline integrity and traceability. Every single rough and polished diamond must be segregated and able to trace back to mine of origin. This requires a robust inventory system which is audited by third party auditors – both floor to system and system to floor.
    • Factory Standards – every aspect of the factory is audited: Health and Safety, Employment Standards, Discrimination, Sanitation Conditions, Environmental Conditions, Human Rights, Accounts – for AML and CFT conditions, Financial Audit Standards. This third party audit is conducted by SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance) on behalf of both BPP (Best Practice Principles) and RJC, and every facility is audited each year.
  • When will my items ship?

Each Ceremony ring is made to order. Please allow 3-4 weeks for your piece to be completed, and you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number when your ring is ready to ship. Once in transit, the item will be delivered within 2-3 business days.

  • How do I figure out my ring size?

Please visit our sizing page here for a printable size chart. For improved accuracy, we also offer physical ring sizers (with whole and half sizes), available here.

If you are between sizes or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us at hello@ceremony.us.
